The light rail
When the light rail opens in 2026 at DTU Lyngby Campus, it will run via Akademivej, Asmussens Allé, and Anker Engelunds Vej, before continuing to Rævehøjvej Station and further north to the terminus in Lundtofte. Therefore, Hovedstadens Letbane is now preparing for the installation of overhead wires for the light rail and the establishment of signal regulation at intersections. After this, the establishment of grass tracks remains.
All works are expected to be completed in 2025, and it is expected that Hovedstadens Letbane will also begin test runs at the end of 2025, and that the light rail will be able to carry passengers from the summer of 2026.
