The DTU Inside front page is no longer personalised – everyone sees the same content. The front page displays messages from the information lists that are relevant for most employees to stay informed about (i.e. DTU Messages, Messages to all employees, Messages to teaching staff, and several other general, broad lists).

Because the front page is no longer personalised, there will be a number of general message lists that are no longer shown on the front page. For example, if you are part of a network or hold a specific role that previously gave you access to IT operations messages, DTUDOCX updates, or similar, these messages will no longer be visible on the front page. You can find them via Messages in the global menu, where we have gathered an overview of all general information lists.

If you would like a consolidated overview of the messages you subscribe to, you must log in to the new messaging platform: https://messages.dtu.dk. Here, the front page displays your personal message feed, which draws on all the information lists you subscribe to (either because you have been assigned a subscription or because you have chosen it yourself).

At present, only the general content has been migrated to the new DTU Inside. Local pages and messages are still available via the old platform. This means that you should continue to follow messages from your unit on the institute front pages (accessible via the global shortcut Departments and offices). You can also find a complete overview of messages that are still located on the former DTU Inside at: https://inside-local.dtu.dk/medarbejder

If you previously subscribed to general information lists (so that they were shown on the front page) or chose to receive email notifications when messages were published, you must re-establish these settings on the new messaging platform.Go to https://messages.dtu.dk and select Subscription at the top of the page. Here you can see an overview of the information lists that have been migrated to the new setup and adjust the settings to suit your needs.

DTU Inside contains a very large volume of content, which is why the transition to the updated platform has had to take place in several stages. This may present challenges in terms of overview, as it is not possible to provide a single, unified overview of all messages. One possible solution is to use email notifications to gather updates in your inbox.

If you need to access old messages, these will be available in an archive associated with each individual information list. Via Messages in the global menu, you can find an overview of all information lists available on the new DTU Inside. When you open a list, you will find an Archive as a sub-item in the menu. Here, all previously published messages from that list are displayed.
