For many Danes, the bicycle is a daily means of transportation. Especially in cities, cycle lanes can be busy, with many cyclists travelling at high speeds. That is why it is important to know the traffic rules and be considerate of others to avoid dangerous situations.

As a cyclist, you should, among other things, keep to the right side of the road, signal when turning or stopping, use lights when it is dark, and keep your phone in your pocket. There are also specific requirements for electric scooters, including the mandatory use of a helmet.
