New issue of Dynamo is out now

The August issue of Dynamo magazine has been published with a special topic on water.

As the world’s population grows, demand for fresh water is rising – both for drinking and for purposes such as food and medicine production. At the same time, water resources are under pressure from environmental pollution and climate change. Read the latest issue of Dynamo to find out how DTU’s leading research groups are developing solutions and knowledge to protect our precious water resources.

In the magazine, you can also read about how your colleagues …

  • have developed a test that allows you to assess your risk of type 2 diabetes using just a tape measure, a blood pressure monitor and a set of scales.
  • have found, through analyses of fashion images from the last 25 years, that ‘skinny’ is still all the rage on the catwalk.
  • are monitoring how Danes’ trust in the welfare state is affected when the public sector introduces solutions based on artificial intelligence.
  • use milk, rapeseed oil and pea protein to make hybrid cheeses that both taste good and familiar and are more climate-friendly than traditional cheeses.

The articles will also be published in both Danish and English on dtu.dk over the coming months.
