Teaching Seminar 30 September: Meet our keynote speaker, Bo Stjerne Thomsen

The Teaching Seminar Autumn 2026 offers new perspectives, practical takeaways, and engaging discussions on the future of teaching and learning at DTU

How can we design teaching and assessment that prepare engineering students for a future shaped by AI, complexity, and constant change?

At the Teaching Seminar Autumn 2026, we are pleased to welcome Bo Stjerne Thomsen, Adjunct Professor at DTU Entrepreneurship and Head of Educational Impact at LEGO Education, as our keynote speaker.

Drawing on insights from learning science, creativity, innovation, and engineering education, Bo Stjerne Thomsen will explore how we can move from teaching delivered to learning achieved. Through an engaging and interactive session, participants will gain fresh perspectives on designing meaningful learning experiences that help students develop both disciplinary expertise and future-ready competencies.

The seminar will provide:

  • Insights and inspiration on how a creative and innovative approach to teaching and assessment can be part of educating engineers for the future
  • Tools to inspire and further explore your teaching practice

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of new perspectives, practical takeaways, and engaging discussions on the future of teaching and learning at DTU.
