System and Platform updates
On this page, we share monthly system and platform updates for our digital learning tools. Each month, relevant updates are brought together in an overview, making it easy for you to see what has changed and what it means in practice.
DTU Learn
- Simplified front page: From late June, the DTU Learn front page will shift from a three-column layout to a two-column layout, giving more space for courses and improving navigation.
- Simplified course homepage: Student announcements get a new look, the calendar moves to the side, and WorkToDo and TimeEdit info are removed to reduce clutter.
- Consistent content experience: All courses (including past ones) will use the new interface, ensuring a more consistent experience across the platform. The new interface has been default for all new courses since the summer of 2024.
Panopto
- In week 27, all Panopto videos will be moved from DTU's current on-premise environment to Panopto's cloud environment. With the updated setup, Panopto videos can be copied automatically when a course is copied in DTU Learn.
