DTU’s best practice for Research Project Administration

Externally funded research projects and Co-financed research projects.

Purpose

Guidelines to help with what to do, when to do it and where to get help during all the steps of an externally funded research project.

Target groups

The target groups are Project Managers and the department administrators that provide support to Project Managers on externally financed projects. Note: the responsibility for the all tasks always ultimately lies with the Project Manager.

Projects not covered

This document does not cover the procedures for commissioned research or projects with no external funding. However, regardless of source of financing and type of research, you must always observe legal regulations and DTU procedures.
