Funding for your research
If you are looking for funding for your research, the Research Office – together with the local support at your department – can assist you in the grant proposal preparation phase.
The Research Office is dedicated to advancing DTU's excellence within research and innovation by supporting DTU researchers in the pre-award phase and with knowledge of EU policy and framework conditions.
The Research Office:
- provides early advice to the university's researchers by adding value from the idea phase to the final submission of a competitive proposal. We support individual researchers applying through competitive calls with larger applications, including Horizon Europe applications, Danish investigator grants and larger Danish collaborative applications.
- assists with and advises on the development and maturation of large strategic and cross-university initiatives. We work closely with EU institutions, private Danish foundations, and DTU’s research and innovation community to help shape the future of research and innovation.
- provides support for good scientific practice concerning research ethics, regulations on access to and use of non-human genetic resources (Nagoya Protocol), and societal impact in all proposals. For a complete overview of support for good scientific practice, please see the Responsible Research timeline.
Through the above efforts, we help to ensure that DTU remains at the forefront of international research and innovation, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and addressing global challenges.
