Zoom is a collaboration platform that makes it easy to communicate and work with your colleagues. It supports video meetings and webinars with up to 500 participants and offers popular features such as breakout rooms, video calls, and virtual whiteboards. You can read more about the features here.
Security when using Zoom

Start by downloading Zoom to your computer via the DTU Software Center, which can be found on your desktop.
You can also download the Zoom app from Google Play if you use Android, or from the App Store if you have an iPhone. Once the app is installed, log in via Single Sign-On (SSO) using your DTU credentials.

You can create a Zoom meeting in several ways – either as an instant meeting or a scheduled one via your calendar. Follow these steps to create and host a meeting:
- Go to https://dtudk.zoom.us/ or use the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device if already installed
- Click "Host" or "New Meeting"
- Click "Invite" at the bottom of the window
- Invite participants via your address book, email, or by copying the meeting link
You can join a Zoom meeting either via the link https://dtudk.zoom.us/ or through the Zoom app on your computer if already installed. Follow these steps to log in with your DTU credentials:
- Select "Sign in with SSO"
- Enter dtudk.zoom.us as the Company Domain – you will be redirected to DTU’s login page in your browser
- Log in using your DTU username and password
You can schedule or join a Zoom meeting directly from your Outlook calendar.

- You can now schedule and manage your meetings directly from your Outlook calendar

You can record Zoom meetings either locally on your computer or in the cloud. If the recording is to be used in Panopto, you must upload it to panopto.dtu.dk – this only applies to local recordings. You can read more about the recording features here:
