High-level relations
- Organise, plan and host high-level visits for particularly important stakeholders (heads of state, ministers, ambassadors, etc.) with a member of the Executive Board acting as host
- Ensure targeted communication and strategic prioritisation of high-level invitations
- DTU’s primary point of contact with the Royal House
Outreach
- DTU’s guided tour service (guided tours with a personal guide, subject to a fee, on the Lyngby Campus)
- Outreach projects (Open University, etc.)
- Project organisation for DTU’s 200th anniversary (2029)
Academic ceremonies and events
- Organising DTU’s annual ball, the professors’ dinner, the PhD candidates’ reception, and graduation receptions for diploma and civil engineers Read about academic ceremonies
- Coordinating inaugural lectures by new professors
- Secretariat for the DTU Ørsted Board
Alumni and Friends – DTU’s alumni network
- Maintain DTU’s central alumni database (all former students)
- Ensure relevant offers and opportunities for alumni engagement, and handle enquiries from alumni
- Develop and manage www.alumni.dtu.dk
- Drafting and distributing newsletters and targeted invitations from administrative units and departments
- Advising and supporting departments and administrative units to ensure the best possible involvement of alumni in their core services (work placement schemes, recruitment advisory boards, etc.)
- Supporting graduation receptions and PhD candidate receptions
- Establish contact with alumni and nurture relationships with those who make a difference to DTU (e.g. via the Rector’s annual alumni evening and the appointment of honorary alumni)
International scientific conferences
- Advise and support departments in connection with international conferences

Art and culture
- Develop strategic art programmes. Read more about DTU’s art programme.
- Organise DTU’s annual Christmas concert and manage DTU’s University Choir and Piano Forum
- Provide advice on existing and future works of art at DTU and maintain DTU’s Art Trail and DTU’s Architecture Trail, along with the accompanying app (DTU plus) for independent visitors
- Ensure an overview of works of art at DTU
Merchandise
Develop and source DTU’s merchandise and VIP gifts, and support Blue Dot projects and others with DTU clothing and merchandise.
