PianoForum DTU
PianoForum DTU is a meeting place for all staff and students who are interested in playing piano music.
The idea behind PianoForum DTU is to create a forum where staff and students who are interested in piano music can get together in an informal setting and inspire each other.
DTU owns a magnificent Boesendorfer piano, which was purchased in Austria in 2005 and has since stood proudly in the Glass Hall. The members of PianoForum DTU meet regularly to play for each other.
Thanks to a grant from the Corrit Foundation, PianoForum DTU is in a position to invite skilled professional pianists to attend its meetings and provide members with inspiration, suggestions and coaching.
The members of PianoForum DTU are experienced amateurs who enjoy meeting like-minded peers and playing for them – if they have had time to practise. Otherwise, they get together to listen to music and exchange views and ideas with other members. You do not have to be a virtuoso to take part, but you do need to be a fair way above beginner level.
PianoForum DTU is organised by fellow Ole Christensen from DTU Mathematics. If you are interested in joining, you can mail Ole to request additional information.
