Messages to employees at DTU

Start your purchase here: Use DTU’s Supplier Agreements Overview

Are you purchasing goods or services on behalf of DTU? If so, always start with the Supplier Agreements Overview. It has been updated with a more user-friendly design, and here you will find the suppliers DTU has already entered into agreements, and which you should use when they cover your needs.

When making a purchase on behalf of DTU, this must be done in accordance with DTU’s Procurement Policy. Once you are familiar with this, there is only one right place to start: DTU’s Supplier Agreements Overview on Inside.

The Supplier Agreements Overview gives you an overview of framework agreements and the procurement categories where DTU already has established agreements. These include, among others:

  • Workwear
  • IT and telephony
  • Laboratory equipment and chemicals
  • Furniture and fittings

These framework agreements are in place to ensure that DTU complies with public procurement rules while securing competitive prices, appropriate payment terms and warranties, and consideration for environmental, climate and social responsibility. The agreements are negotiated centrally to meet requirements for price, quality, sustainability and legislation.

If what you need is available in the supplier agreement overview, you must use these suppliers.

Can’t find what you’re looking for?

If your need is not covered by the overview, you cannot simply purchase elsewhere right away.

Instead, start by contacting your local procurement super user. A super user is colleague in your unit who can often help you find a solution quickly.

If the super user is unable to resolve the issue, the next step is to contact the relevant Category Manager, who can assist you further within the specific procurement area.

In short, you should always start by checking the overview of supplier agreements, then seek assistance first from your local procurement super user, and next from the Category Managers if you have any questions.
