Live performances and the menu for DTU Commemoration 2026 are now announced

One of the absolute highlights of the year at DTU is the annual Commemoration, where the university and Polyteknisk Forening invites students, staff, and partners to an unforgettable evening.

The evening includes:  

  • An Academic Ceremony at 5 PM
  • 3-course gala dinner at 7:30 PM
  • Party with music and dancing from 10 PM 

 

Live performances

This year, the lineup includes:

  • Medina
  • KATO
  • Patina
  • The Orchestra
  • Det Ny Big Band feat. Bobo Moreno & Anna David  
  • DJ’s 

 

As a new addition, there will also be a Silent Disco featuring headphones playing three different music genres.

 

The dinner

This year’s gala dinner features a three-course menu, continuing last year’s concept with a social-dining main course that highlights togetherness and global cuisine. 


The main course is served as a shared experience, where guests at each table are presented with seven carefully prepared dishes to be shared among the group. The selection includes one chicken dish and six vegan dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world.

 

In addition, both the starter and the dessert will be fully vegan. 


To ensure the concept runs smoothly, a Social Dining Host will be assigned to each table to help distribute food evenly among guests.
