DTU Learning Lab invites teachers to join one of two hands-on workshop tracks where you will develop an AI-supported learning activity or tool, test it with your students, and share your experiences with colleagues. The purpose is to explore the potential of bringing AI into the classroom.

1. Create interactive teaching materials with generative AI
Discover how generative AI can help you design interactive teaching materials and tools for your courses. In the workshop, you will create a concrete prototype and test it with your students—no advanced technical or programming skills required. The workshop draws on Professor Peter Bøggild’s work on the learning potential of digitally interactive teaching materials developed with generative AI. Peter will guide you in creating materials tailored to your own teaching context, such as interactive notes, exercises, experiments, or visualizations. 2. Strengthen students’ professional argumentation and critical thinking with AI bots
Explore how AI bots can support students in formulating, justifying, challenging, and reconsidering their professional reasoning. You will experience the activity from a student perspective, develop and adapt your own bot, and design a learning activity for your students. The workshop builds on Associate professor Anton Allen Abbotsford Autzen's development of HelpTheBot. Anton will lead you through your development of a bot for your own teaching.

From idea to classroom

Both workshop tracks combine a 1-hour online kickoff, a 3-hour onsite workshop, testing in your own teaching, and a short follow-up where experiences are shared.
