Set up a Grading Scheme
This tutorial shows how to set up a Grading Scheme. Grading Schemes are used to convert a percentage grade to a Grade Symbol, e.g. convert 71.5% to either 7 or Passed.
Follow these steps:
01
From the navigation bar in the Grades tool, go to Schemes tab. Click New Scheme.
02
Give the Scheme a name that you can recognize in the future. In the Ranges part, decide how many ranges you want, and add extra by putting in a number and click Add Ranges. Starting at the top, put in a Symbol for the lowest score. The Colour determines the background of the grade in the student's grade book, and the Assigned Value % is not required. For the next row, put in a Symbol, and the minimum percentage score required to achieve that level. When you are done, click Save and Close.
