Regular assessments
The progress of the PhD studies is regularly assessed throughout the PhD study.
The regular assessments must be completed and submitted in PhDPlanner.
As part of the PhD programme, all PhD students are required to submit a total of six regular assessments during their enrolment.
The first assessment is due 4.5 months after the start date. Subsequent assessments must be submitted every six months as follows:
• 1st assessment: 4.5 months
• 2nd assessment: 10.5 months
• 3rd assessment: 16.5 months
• 4th assessment: 22.5 months
• 5th assessment: 28.5 monhts
• 6th assessment: 34.5 months
Please note that the exact deadlines are calculated based on your individual start date and are adjusted according to any leave or extension granted in the individual PhD study.
Prior to each deadline, the PhD student will receive a notification from PhDPlanner.
Negative regular assessment
If the progress of the PhD study is considered unsatisfactory, a negative assessment must be submitted.
