Photo and video
Photo and video are elements in the storytelling about DTU. They help show who we are as a University and how our research, education, innovation, and advisory services make a difference for people and society.
DTU's visual style
DTU’s visual style is rooted in the core narrative of technology for people. This means that images should not only show what we do, but also why we do it—and what impact technology has in practice.
Principles for selecting images for research communication or other DTU communication:
- Images must be authentic, documentary in style, and of high quality
- People are at the centre—technology is shown in use and in context
- Motifs may relate to purpose and society, technology in use, or life on campus

The photo brief ensures that DTU appears recognizable, professional, and coherent—regardless of where the images are used.
