Procedure for carrying out the study start evaluation
The purpose of the study start evaluation is to hear the students' perception of the course of the study start, and the evaluation thus helps to ensure the forward-looking quality development of the study start at DTU. In addition, it highlights the effect of parts of the recruitment measures that DTU uses.

Planning the study start evaluation
At the beginning of the autumn, AUS updates the questions in the study start evaluation following the feedback and measures from the evaluation last year. The Office for Study Programmes and Student Affairs (AUS) is responsible for the study start evaluation. Still, the questions in the questionnaire are prepared in consultation with the student association Polyteknisk Forening (PF) and the Office for Communication and Media (AKM).
Sending out the questionnaire
The study start evaluation is carried out as a questionnaire survey via SurveyXact. A link to the electronic questionnaire will be sent per email to all newly admitted BSc and BEng students at DTU in week 46. The deadline to answer is Sunday in week 47.
The exact response deadlines will be stated in the email the students receive.
Processing of data
AUS processes the data received during the weeks after the questionnaire is closed for responses. AUS prepares reports for the BSc and BEng study starts, respectively. The reports will be ready in December.
Follow-up on the study start evaluations
The results of the stud start evaluations are passed on to the deans, heads of studies, PF and AKM, who, together with AUS, make sure to follow up on them.
