Carlsberg Foundation
The Carlsberg Foundation supports independent basic research at the highest international level in the fields of natural science, social science and humanities.
The foundation does not fund applied clinical health-science research or applied technological research.
Examples of funding possibilities
- Postdoc fellowships (both in DK and abroad)
- Investigator grants (Semper Ardens)
- Field trips or research stays abroad
- International conferences in Denmark
- Research Infrastructures
Research Support DTU assists with calls for investigator grants detailed below:
- Semper Ardens Accelerate: DKK 7 million for 3-4 years (max 2 years into tenured associated professorship position)
- Semper Ardens Accomplish: DKK 10-13 million for 5 years (max 4 years of professorship - call is open in odd years)
- Semper Ardens Advance: DKK 15-25 million for 5 years (for internationally recognised professors - call is open in even years)
