Practical matters when leaving DTU
When you leave your position at DTU, you must return the following to your manager:
- Admission card
- Keys
- Laptop
- Mobile phone
- DTU credit card (including closing the card)
- Any other items
You must also clean up your office/workspace and remove all personal belongings.
You are required to clean up your data files and ensure they are handed over to the relevant persons, e.g. colleagues who will use the data in future.
If you have worked in Oracle Fusion (Time & Labour, Procurement, Payables, Expense, or eForms), you must:
- Complete all ongoing documents (timesheets, purchase orders, invoices, travel expense reports, reimbursements, and open credit card transactions).
- Pay any outstanding amounts to DTU.
- Set up a deputy in Fusion in agreement with your manager/colleagues.
Remember to set an out-of-office reply on your Outlook account and refer to a deputy/contact person.
If you are taking early retirement, you must contact your unemployment insurance fund (A-kasse). General rules about early retirement can be found on Borger.dk under `Pension and Early Retirement´.
