Notice, given by the employee

An employee can give notice with a minimum of a running + a whole month to resign on the last weekday of the month.

During the probationary period (the first 3 months of employment) notice can be given with 1 day.

Notice, given by DTU

Notice is given in relation to seniority as follows:

  • During the probationary period (the first 3 months) – 14 days’ notice
  • Before the end of 6 months – 1 month’s notice
  • Before the end of 2 years and 9 months – 3 months’ notice
  • Before the end of 5 years and 8 months – 4 months’ notice
  • Before the end of 8 years and 7 months – 5 months’ notice
  • After 8 years and 7 months – 6 months’ notice
