Processing and storage of data for registration of working time (GDPR)
There are statutory requirements for storage and processing.
- Fusion is already designed to process and store the data that employees register about their working time, and access to see data, etc. is already incorporated into the role structure of Fusion.
- Under the new act, employees must be able to access and change their own registrations. This is already possible in Fusion.
- According to the act, registrations of working time must be stored for five years after the end of the period used to calculate the employee’s weekly working hours. The reference period is currently four months, which means that the data must be stored for a minimum period of five years and four months. Data have been stored in Fusion from when the system was introduced in 2022.
- The changes made in Fusion based on the statutory requirements for registration, processing, and storage of personal data will be incorporated into our existing GDPR rules.
