Financial support for competence development

In the Agency for Competence Development in the State Sector, state employees can apply for financial support for:

  • Training and course fees
  • Materials
  • Transport, and accommodation expenses

In order to receive funds from The Agency for Competence Development in the State Sector for your competence development, it is important that:

  • You are covered by a state agreement
  • Your manager approves your application for fund support
  • Your workplace pays part of the costs associated with the competence development applied (such as working hours, transport, accommodation or materials costs)

There are no fixed application rounds. You can apply for the fund on an ongoing basis.

If you want to apply for financial support via the Agency for Competence Development in the State Sector, the course for which you are applying must, as a starting point, be long-term (typically more than three days) and contribute to your development. The Agency for Competence Development in the State Sector can only support external courses.

You can read more at www.denstatsligekompetencefond.dk, where you can also find a link to the application form.
