This type of absence is used for absence in connection with vacation - both vacation accrued with DTU pay and vacation not accrued with DTU pay.

This type of absence is used in the following situations:

  • Doctor, dentist, blood donor visits
  • Death and funeral/burial
  • Free for exam reading (the day before and the day of the exam itself).
  • Civic duty, where the task is unpaid - you have time off with pay. See examples of unpaid tasks. See 'Time off without pay' if the task is paid (below).
  • Caring for seriously ill children and close relatives. Read more at

Description

This type of absence in situations in which - by agreement with the immediate manager - an employee wishes to take single days off (for private reasons) and when all holidays and special days of holiday have already been taken. Is also used for civic duty when the task is paid - you have time off without pay from DTU (see examples of paid tasks).

Anyone over the age of 62 can hold 2 senior bonus days a year The days are without pay, so people are deducted if they pay them, in return they are paid 0.08 per cent of their annual salary every month to cover the salary draw.

Description

As a parent, you may be entitled to leave with unemployment benefits under the Maternity Act if a child is stillborn or dies before the age of 18. A parent can take grief leave with unemployment benefit for 26 weeks, i.e. 6 months.

Parents who have lost a child and who are on grief leave are entitled to paid grief leave. It is a prerequisite for the right to pay during mourning leave that the employer can receive reimbursement of unemployment benefit.
