DTU’s Campus Service Certified in Energy Management: Help Save Energy
DTU’s Campus Service (CAS) now have an ISO-certified energy management system as one of the few facility management organizations at a university.
Since 2024, CAS has worked systematically to map energy consumption across DTU’s campuses in Lyngby, Ballerup, and Risø, set targets, and strengthen efforts to reduce the university’s overall energy use.
In 2026, Campus Service achieved ISO 50001 certification for its energy management system. To maintain the certification, Campus Service must continue delivering energy savings and meeting its targets.
Save Energy in Your Daily Work
A large share of energy consumption is generated through everyday activities in laboratories, offices, and teaching facilities. With so many people using DTU’s facilities, the combined impact of our actions can make a noticeable difference in overall energy consumption.
Use your equipment responsibly and be mindful of your energy use. By doing so, you contribute to DTU’s ongoing efforts to achieve continuous energy savings.
