Signage for nanoparticles

In order for users to know that the technical equipment (fume hood, safety cabinets, glove boxes), are covered by the Institute's Nano-APV, they must be labeled with a warning signs for nanoparticles.

In addition, warning for nanoparticles must be signed on the ventilation duct itself and on the corresponding Hepa filters. This ensures that workmen are protected against exposure, as they are warned to carry out the work under correct instructions and with suitable personal protection. The sign can be purchased here: https://www.josafety.dk/shop/frontpage.html

Separate and dedicated laboratories for handling of airborne nanoparticles have to be signed with the access status “no entry”. No other action must take place while handling nanoparticles. This could, for example, be "prohibited for unauthorized persons" "Access prohibited. Nano"

All entry doors must be signed with the required personal protective equipment.
