Mail letter at Lyngby Campus

Delivery and collection of letters

The departments receive incoming mail twice a week. The mail is delivered to the departments' designated mail delivery points.

The departments can pick up mail every day from Posten in Building 371, if preferred. Opening hours are 10:00 - 10:30. Posten can be contacted via fr-ren@forenede.dk.

The 1st and 3rd quadrants receive mail on Mondays and Wednesdays. Outgoing mail is collected at the time of mail delivery. The 2nd and 4th quadrants receive mail on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Outgoing mail is collected at the time of mail delivery.

There is daily delivery and collection of mail at Reception 101A after 13:00. Stamped and unstamped mail that is placed for collection before 13:00 will be sent on the same day.

Stamping of letters

PostNord stamps outgoing mail. All letters are sent as regular mail (category ‘Letter’). Only when next-day delivery is absolutely necessary, should a letter be sent as a Q letter (category ‘Quick letter’). The letter must be marked ‘Q’ to indicate it is Q letter. Q letters have a delivery time of two weekdays.

Outgoing mail is stamped with DTU’s main address. Please remember to add the department’s sender address e.g., on pre-printed envelopes.

Letters requiring delivery within two weekdays are marked ‘Q’.
International letters are marked ‘Prioritaire A’.

Letters with acknowledgement of receipt

If you wish to get a receipt as confirmation that your letter has been received, we recommend using DSV, where you can also track your letter or parcel.
