Guide to signage at DTU
Wayfinding at DTU must be simple, intuitive and uniform. DTU has a guide to signage.
DTU Skilteguide (guide to signage at DTU) establishes the framework for signage on all DTU's campuses and areas - outdoors and indoors.
The guide ensures that navigating at DTU is simple and intuitive. At the same time, signage is an important element of DTU's architecture and visual identity, and signage contributes to the overall branding of the university. Therefore, the principles in DTU Sign Guide apply to all areas of the university.
Campus Service is responsible for all signage. Requests for new signs and corrections to existing signs must therefore be addressed to Campus Service, Buildings, who, on the basis of DTU Skilteguide, decides if and how the signage is designed in practice.
DIY printing for indoor rooms
You can print small indoor room signs yourself. The room signs contains information about, for example, who works in a room.
DTU Skilteguide is prepared by the Department of Communications and Media in collaboration with Campus Service.
