On DTU’s various social media platforms, we tell concrete stories to show how DTU makes technology for people—by people. We focus on the individual, the technology, and its importance for society.
Together, the content and presence will strengthen DTU’s relevance and position as a leading international elite university offering excellent research environments and study programmes.

LinkedIn is DTU’s largest social media platform. The platform is used to tell the story of DTU’s excellent researchers and socially relevant research. DTU shares knowledge about new research projects and fascinating research results that prove the usefulness of engineering, collaborations, and the University’s work.
The channel is used for branding and employer branding and contributes, through e.g. profiles and stories about large events at the University, to the story of DTU as an attractive workplace and a place that makes technology for people.

Facebook is for students and about students. The page is used to share information about life as a student and about what is expected of students at DTU.
Through stories about the students’ own study-relevant achievements and experiences, we support student life at DTU in an authentic way that students can identify with and create a relevant and present image for curious potential students.
We reflect life on campus by covering the University’s large events and sharing pictures from both inside and out. We share select research news that shows how the work of engineers makes a difference in society.

Instagram is used to share photos and videos in various formats. The content deals with life on campus, zooms in on students and student life, covers large events at the University, and showcases fascinating research.
The content is always in English. The channel’s various features such as stories and reels are used to create a strong visual brand targeted at potential international students, but also the international students who are already here.

DTU’s YouTube channel contains DTU’s self-produced video material. Here we use video clips to showcase life on campus and share profiles of students and staff.
The channel contains all DTU’s educational films about all BSc, BEng, and MSc programmes.
We share messages from the Executive Board and videos about our socially relevant research and current themes told through, e.g., explainers.
