Roles and responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an employee

As an employee, you are responsible for allocating your working hours and absence. You are also responsible for reallocating your hours if you subsequently discover an error in your time sheet. The entry is made on the basis of the project and job numbers that you receive from your immediate manager or the relevant project manager.

Your responsibilities as an HR manager

As an HR manager, you are responsible for ensuring that your employees’ entries are correct and in accordance with contractual terms and conditions. You are also responsible for approving your employees’ time sheets at the end of each month. As an approver, you are thus also responsible for ensuring correct project and job numbers.

The approval must have been done no later than on the third weekday of the following month. This also applies to full absence during the month. If the approval is done more than three months after the current month, a more senior manager must also confirm the approval.

In special cases such as acute illness, you can - as the immediate manager - enter the time sheet for your employee.
