Managing Expectations meeting

Corporate HR offers meetings with international candidates for positions at associate professor/senior researcher level and above. Corporate HR offers webinars about relocation to Denmark for candidates for PhD positions and postdoc/assistant professor/researcher. The goal for both meetings and webinars is to manage the expectations of candidates and their accompanying families.

Through these meetings and webinars, we provide assistance to DTU managers in the recruitment of international employees by informing the candidate (and any accompanying family members) about working at DTU and living in Denmark as well as guiding them through administrative steps to be taken care of before and upon arrival.

The meetings and webinars contribute to both the manager’s and the candidate’s decision-making process by filtering through the linguistic and cultural layers and providing an overview of the parties’ mutual expectations.

The meeting/webinar should be held before signing a contract, and whenever possible in connection with the candidate’s arrival in Denmark.
