Cooperation and Joint Consultation Committee (HSU)

Cooperation and Joint Consultation Committee (HSU) is DTU’s highest-level consultation committee. HSU consists of six management representatives and ten employee representatives appointed by the employee organisations represented at DTU from among DTU’s union representatives.

HSU provides the framework for dialogue and cooperation between management and employees at DTU. The committee discusses matters relating to the workplace and contributes to strengthening collaboration across the university with a view to promoting employee involvement, supporting good working conditions, and contributing to the implementation of DTU’s strategy. HSU also collaborates with the Corporate Working Environmental Committee (KAMU) on matters of common interest that relate to both the collaboration agreement (only in Danish) and working environment legislation .

HSU normally meets four times a year and additionally as required. Agendas are published on DTU Inside before meetings are held, and decisions and key discussions are subsequently communicated through meeting minutes, which are published in both Danish and English on DTU Inside.
