Newsletter for alumni and friends

The newsletter is sent to members of Alumni and friends who wish to receive it (currently more than 42,000 persons).

The newsletter is sent 6 times a year and in both Danish and English, depending on the recipient's preferred language (employees who receive the newsletter for information purposes get both the Danish and English version).

For each newsletter, we select 6-8 stories from the news flow on dtu.dk that we believe will be most relevant to all alumni across study programmes and graduation years, and that are most important for DTU to communicate. The newsletter also includes special sections with current events and lifelong learning offers, as well as references to special offers/other activities.

• 16 June 2026 (deadline 8 June 2026)
• 25 August 2026 (deadline 17 August 2026)
• 6 October 2026 (deadline 28 September 2026)
• 8 December 2026 (deadline 30/11 2026)
  

Contribute content

We would be very happy to receive suggestions for content in the form of news, specific activities, or events that are of broad interest to DTU alumni, or that DTU has a strategic interest in alumni being aware of.

You can send suggestions to Jacob Jensen – however, we do not guarantee that the content will be included in the newsletter.

Please send contributions to newsletters before the deadline in the form of:

• Catchy headline (max 50 characters)
• Description (max 300 characters)
• Link to website with more info
• Optional image (600 x 300 px)
  

Contributions regarding lifelong learning should be sent to Heidi Lorenzen from DTU Learn for Life, who collects and prioritizes the lifelong learning content for the newsletter.

Subscribe to the newsletter

All employees – both those who are alumni themselves and everyone else – are very welcome to subscribe to the newsletter and can sign up as recipients by registering at www.alumni.dtu.dk or by sending an email to alumni@dtu.dk.

In addition to the newsletter, we also send out segmented direct mails/targeted emails with invitations to specific events, etc.
