Research Administration Networks
Research administration networks are for knowledge sharing between DTU employees who work with research funding administration
FAN - Research Administrative Network
You can become a member of the Research Administration Network, FAN, if you are a TAP at DTU working with external funding of research and research strategy. FAN is an active mailing list where you can share information and ask questions relevant to project administration (pre-, and post-award). The list is also being used to invite members for pre-award meetings. In addition, a shared TEAMS site “FAN-network” exists as a platform for sharing documents related to project administration.

- If you wish to be a member of the pre-award network
FAN is split into two active networks one for pre- and one for post-award support:
Pre-award Network
The Pre-award network is for all DTU staff supporting the pre-award project phase. The focus is primarily on pre-award support, but several members of the network are involved in both pre- and post-award support in their department.
Meetings: the pre-award network meets approximately 4 times a year, to share experiences and discuss different pre-award related topics. The meetings are organized by the steering group. The topics are chosen based on suggestions from the network members. As a member you are expected to participate proactively and contribute positively to the network. All meetings are physical.
Communication takes place by email. In addition, the network has a joint TEAMS channel “Pre-award network” placed under the FAN TEAMS site. This platform is being used for sharing documents and information from meetings as well as information about the network's participants.
If you wish to be a member of the pre-award network, please contact Clara Frausing Binau, claf@dtu.dk
PROS - Project Support Network
This network is open to everyone at DTU who supports research projects. The focus is primarily on post-award support, but several members of the network are involved in both pre- and post-award support.
Meetings: PROS meets approximately 3-4 times a year, to share experiences and discuss developments and procedures across DTU departments. The participants take turns organizing and holding the meetings, and you are expected to participate proactively and contribute positively to the network. All meetings are physical.
Communication takes place by email. In addition, the network has a joint TEAMS site as a platform for sharing documents and information from meetings as well as information about the network's participants and their work areas.
