Holding an exam
Below you can find instructions for holding a written exam on campus or conducting an oral exam.
Written exams (written on-site exams)
When conducting a written exam on campus, you can use the following instructions:
- Exam Handbook - Information on holding written exams
The exam handbook contains information on, among other things, reporting the exam reporting form, aids during the exam, choosing a digital platform, and uploading the exam assignment. - Guide to digital exams (DE)
- Setting up Multiple Choice via Digital Exam
- Cover template for the exam paper
In addition, reference is made to DTU's rules on written exams (written on-site exams) at student.dtu.dk under 'Study rules'/'Exams'/'Forms of examination'.
Oral exams
As a rule oral exams are held with the physical presence of both students and the assessors, as in DTU's opinion the physical meeting works best for all parties. Online courses are exempt from this rule.
In special cases, it is possible to hold an oral exam online.
You can get more information on oral exams on campus, including group exams, and online oral exam in DTU's rules on oral exams at student.dtu.dk under 'Study rules'/'Exams'/'Forms of examination'
When conducting an oral exam online, the following instructions must be used.
