The DTU leadership role

Purpose

As a manager, you are a role model engaged in dialogue, so that your leadership inspires others to follow.

DTU expects managers to be innovative, trustworthy, and committed, in line with DTU's values. The DTU leadership role gives you a framework for how good management can be exercised and developed at DTU.

Form and content

The DTU leadership role is divided into four management disciplines. In addition, exercising a leadership role at DTU requires each manager to bring their personal leadership into play. This means that all managers must reflect on their own leadership practice, and have an eye for ensuring that results are created through interaction between people.
