Super users at DTU

Learn more about the super user role at DTU. Who are they super users, what they can help with, and how to become a super user yourself.

Super users at DTU are local experts in finance and procurement processes in DTU Fusion. They are your colleagues who have specialised knowledge of processes and systems and can help you if you have questions about purchasing, time and absence, or expenses.

What can a super user help you with?

A super user is a colleague in your unit who has in-depth knowledge of DTU's processes and systems within:

Super users know how to carry out tasks in DTU Fusion and can guide you if challenges or specific questions arise.

What is expected of you as a super user?

If you are a super user, you are expected to:

  • Have strong knowledge of workflows and systems within your area
  • Guide colleagues and share your knowledge locally
  • Participate in network meetings and stay updated via the super user network on Teams
  • Complete DTU’s e-learning for super users

How to become a super user

When you are appointed as a super user by your Head of Administration in one of the process areas, the DTUBase administrator in your unit must assign you the super user role in DTUBase.

Once the role has been registered, you must send an email to the AØR communication team at AOR-Kommunikation-postkasse@dtu.dk to be added to the super user network on Teams. Information and invitations are shared via Teams, where you can also exchange knowledge with other super users.

Important: If you are to become a super user in procurement, you must complete a specific super user training programme before the role can be assigned.
