Morning gymnastics
All DTU employees and students can participate in a virtual morning gymnastics session on Teams every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 8.30 a.m. and finishing at 8.40 a.m. (with the exception of public holidays, Easter week, Summer holidays, week 42, and the week between Christmas and New Year).
The sessions are held in Danish, but if you don’t speak Danish, you’ll find it easy to follow.
There are several instructors from REDMINKROP.dk attached to the morning gymnastics session—each has their own focus on a specific area.
- A range of resistance exercises for the whole body.
- Stretching the neck/shoulders and getting the arms, shoulders, neck, and back moving.
- A range of resistance band exercises for the whole body—with a boost to the tempo.
- A range of resistance band exercises focusing on the upper back, neck, shoulders and lower back pain.
You will need to bring your own resistance band.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to access the recording on Teams afterwards. If the time generally doesn't suit you or you didn't make it to today's morning gym, you can watch one of the two videos that REDMINKROP has posted on their website. You can find them here.
