Printer room
Laser printers, network printers and photocopiers should be placed in a printer room, i.e. a room without fixed workstations and the room should be well ventilated.
Specific reasons why they should be placed in a room without fixed workstations:
Noise
Printers and photocopiers can be sources of noise that disrupts concentration and well-being for employees, especially in open office environments
Air quality
Some machines emit chemical compounds and particles that can negatively affect the indoor climate
Lack of space
If the office is small or crowded, the machines can take up valuable space and contribute to clutter, which can negatively affect work efficiency and well-being
