Office work environments
Offices provide the setting for working life for many DTU employees. Office work is often sedentary, which means opportunities for variation are important. It is also important that workstations are designed so they can be adapted to various work duties and body dimensions.
We must deploy sensible and correct office furnishings, while ensuring that we fulfil the requirements of the Danish Working Environment Authority.
On these DTU Inside pages, you can read more about:
- Permanent workstations (including space requirements, desks, chairs and IT equipment/laptops)
- Computer glasses
- Indoor climate
- Lighting
- Noise and acoustics
- Group and open-plan offices
- Other useful information (e.g. office machines, heatwave leave and working from home due to noise at work)
