Building coordinators at DTU
A number of building coordinators have been appointed at DTU to enable Campus Service to operate and maintain DTU’s building stock, equipment, and areas as efficiently as possible.
When Campus Service performs tasks on buildings, equipment, and areas, it is important that the tasks are coordinated with the right contact persons at the university units. For this purpose, a number of building coordinators have been appointed at DTU, whom Campus Service contacts for all building-related enquiries.

The role of building coordinator
As a building coordinator, you must have good knowledge of roles and areas of responsibility in your own organization. In addition, you must have an overview of your own buildings in relation to:
- Technical installations, including plumbing, ventilation, and electricity
- Laboratories, workshops, server rooms, and the like
- Ongoing projects, such as renovation work
- Events.
The building coordinator is responsible for continuously passing on relevant information to his or her department, office, or tenant about, for example, window cleaning.
