Security

DTU’s security guards monitor and safeguard DTU’s property by being visible and actively present on campus. Their security tasks include daily closure of buildings, acting on irregularities, alarms, and security breaches, supporting DTU’s contingency plans in case of special emergency incidents, and much more.

At Risø Campus, special conditions apply:

As Risø Campus is categorised as a nuclear area, we are subject to special conditions for operation in accordance with the National Institute of Radiation Hygiene.

The entire Risø Campus is fenced in, and access to campus is via the Entry Gate Office, where access cards must be shown. The main gate office handles all security of buildings and campus area in collaboration with the Senior Main Gate Officer. Read more about the special access conditions at Risø Campus here
