Event halls, foyers and canteens

Event halls in 101

The Service Centre has two large event halls located in the first quadrant: Demant/Oticon and the Glass Hall. The Sports Hall is only available for booking on special occasions, as it is primarily used by DTU Sport.

Demant/Oticon is an empty space and requires movers for setup and takedown. We have seating plans available for events with more than 149 attendees. Oticon is equipped with two projectors and a screen. You can control the skylight, lighting, and sound using the panel located by the bar.

The Glass Hall is set up with tables and chairs to accommodate 216 people. The grand piano is permanently installed in the Glass Hall. We have approved seating plans for the stage, lectern and rows of chairs.

The foyer and lounge in 101

There are two areas in Meeting Center 101 available for breaks, receptions, and similar activities. We refer to the areas as the lounge (located in the living room) and the foyer (on the first floor). The furniture layout in the foyer is fixed due to emergency escape route regulations. You may use the lounge for smaller poster board setups.

The Biosphere in 202

In building 202, it is possible to book the Biosphere for receptions, lectures and dining. Please note that it is an open space and there will be an extra flow of people during the lunch break to the canteen. The stairs behind meeting room 8003 can be used for smaller gatherings. A screen is available, and seating is possible on the stairs.

Canteens in 101, 202 and 342

You cannot book the entire canteen between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. However, you can reserve a table during the lunch break. It is possible to book a canteen area before and after lunch via the Service Centre.

You can keep yourself up to date on holiday lunches, opening hours and menus via DTU's web-based app.

Room 021 can be booked by writing to the Service Centre.
