Ideas for planning a great event
Get the space ready
Whether your event is large or small, you need to find the right venue. Think about how many people you need to be in the room and how you want to sit. Should you sit in groups or are rows preferable? We can cover most needs. Find layout plans for both meeting rooms and classrooms.
If you want to change the table arrangement in the room, we will order movers for the task. Together, we can prepare seating plans for the larger rooms so that you can get the layout that you are dreaming of. We have podiums for the stage, and flags can be put up in front of 101A.
Who is speaking?
Do you have more than one speaker on the program? Did you know that you can order a technician from AIT to help you start the day, for example by setting up visual aids and microphones. If you need a lectern, it should always be handled by a skilled technician. The electrical department can make sure that you do not short-circuit and can set up electrical installations as needed.
Take it outside
You can use the outdoor areas at DTU Lyngby Campus in the summer. Campus Service can help with extra containers for waste. Are you in doubt about sorting? Then the sustainability team has created this quick guide for you. Remember toilet trolleys if there are more than 149 people.
Fuel for the day
If your event lasts many hours, fresh catering is essential. The canteen provides a fixed menu for catering, which you can order via the canteen booking system. But you can dream big, because there is ample opportunity to put together your own menu. Write to the event catering and put together a delicious organic menu.
Safe surroundings
If you are looking for extra security for a larger event or a VIP event, we can plan this. This could include event security who are only visible, fire guards, and/or doormen.
Cleaning
DTU's cleaning assistants start the daily cleaning on weekdays before the rooster crows. However, maybe you need help with the trash or a wet cloth to wipe down tables after lunch. Contact CAS-REN by email and decide on your cleaning needs before, during, and after the event
