Practical help for events on Lyngby Campus
DTU Lyngby Campus holds numerous large and small events every year. There are department conferences, PhD receptions, and anniversaries. There are academic and social student activities such as Friday bars, introduction days, DTU Science Show, and much more.
CAS Service Centre is here to guide you as an event organizer. You will need to plan many details and perhaps talk to several departments. You will find information about some of this on these pages. We are ready to help you create a successful event.
Plan and book
Kindly contact us well in advance of the event so that we can book venues and have an initial discussion about your wishes for the event. For this meeting, you can fill out the checklist, which covers most needs for a large event. You will find the checklist in the box on the right.
The Service Centre assists with tasks such as:
- Coordination with the movers
- List of event inventory
- Floor and layout plans
- Issuing guest cards
- Communication with external suppliers

It is important to let us know when a new contact person will be at your event, so that we always know who to contact.
Help from other departments
There are various departments in CAS that can assist with the practical tasks related to your event. Depending on the task and any need for external suppliers, expenses may be incurred. You can order service tasks via Campus Service - Orders and/or the DTU Service Portal.
