You can rent shared bikes at various locations on Lyngby and Ballerup Campus at the so‑called hubs. A hub is an area where it is possible to park or find shared bikes. You can find their locations in the providers’ apps.
The bikes can be used for transportation to all destinations within the providers’ operating areas, for example S-train stations, student residences, or between Lyngby and Ballerup Campus.
E-bikes from Dott
The blue e-bikes from Dott are offered at DTU in collaboration with the Capital Region of Denmark, which works to promote shared mobility. There are two hubs on Ballerup Campus, while Dott bikes can be parked in most bike racks on Lyngby Campus.
Bikes from Donkey Republic
Donkey Republic’s orange bikes (non-electric) are primarily intended for transport to and from Lyngby Station and can be found on Lyngby Campus.
