Lapse of EU residence permit, EU/EEA/Swiss citizens

Your EU residence permit may lapse if the conditions on which your registration certificate/EU residence permit was granted no longer apply.

If you leave Denmark for an extended period of time, or if you no longer maintain a residence in Denmark, your residence permit can lapse.
