Electricity and lighting at DTU

At DTU, we have thousands of electrical installations that are critical for all of us to be able to study, conduct research, and work on campus.

Campus Service Electricity handles DTU’s electrical installations as well as lighting and access to electricity on campus. We are also responsible for the buildings’ automatic fire alarm systems and elevators.

Campus Service Electricity contributes to reducing electricity consumption at DTU and is constantly launching new measures aimed at achieving sustainable energy consumption. You can read more about this down below.

Fault reporting and ordering of service tasks

If you experience faults in DTU’s electrical installations fire alarm systems, or elevators, you must report it to Campus Service Electricity in DTU’s fault reporting system.

If you instead need help with electrical tasks, you must order it as a service task. This may, for example, be that you need help connecting machines to the electricity grid, need electricity access at events, need to hang up lamps, or need to establish network plug outlets. Campus Service Electricity provides services against payment.
