Visiting Researchers
Here, we list funding opportunities for researchers to visit DTU.
- Otto Mønsted Foundation: Departments from DTU, CBS, AAU, AU and SDU can apply for visiting professorships for foreigners.
- Lundbeck Foundation: Danish biomedical research groups can apply for funding to attract foreign guest researchers at the professor level to Denmark for 2-6 months. Lundbeckfonden will fund each Visiting Professorship with max. DKK 500,000. The duration of the stay in Denmark must be between 2-6 months and stays of shorter or longer duration will not be considered. The project must be within, biomedicine or health sciences and preferentially neuroscience.
- Fulbright: If the visiting professor is from US then Fulbright might be a possibility.
- Novo Nordisk Foundation: Part of their programme "RECRUIT sabbatical Grants" is about transient embedment of university faculty in a foreign environment, including international professors. You can apply for up to DKK 1 million over up to 1 year. This grant is both available for researchers in Denmark going abroad and international researchers coming to Denmark.
- LEO Foundation Visiting Researcher: The purpose of the LEO Foundation Visiting Researchers program is to stimulate a cohesive and agile skin research ecosystem by supporting temporary embedment of skin researchers in a foreign research environment with the aim of fostering genuine international collaborations and strengthening the exchange of knowledge, ideas, methodology, and technology between Danish and international skin research communities. Applicants must be at or above postdoc level.
