Emergency boards

Emergency boards must ensure that emergency information is gathered in one place and is easily accessible to the users of the building, e.g. in case of evacuation.

The emergency boards contain information about fire prevention and about responding to an emergency. On this page, you will find standard information for the boards.

It is a local responsibility that the emergency boards are updated and that evacuation procedures have been practiced locally. To do this, use the evacuation video which is available in both Danish and English.

Three types of emergency boards

  • The primary emergency board which must be wall-mounted at the main entrance of the building (large red board)
  • Supplementary emergency boards that can be wall-mounted at critical locations in the building (small red board)
  • The meeting room board which must be wall-mounted in meeting rooms subject to operational regulations (small whiteboard)
